I discovered Thistle & Twigs completely by chance during a visit to Lomond Shores last month, and I’m so glad I did. I picked up a 9-box mixed wax melt set and honestly, they are some of the best smelling wax melts I’ve ever used — beautifully fragranced, strong but not overpowering, and long-lasting.
Each wax melt is a little work of art with its dried botanicals on top, which adds a lovely aesthetic touch. But the real highlight for me was the Moroccan Amber scent. For years, I’ve caught hints of a particular fragrance that always reminded me of my gran’s house from early childhood — and I finally found it here. The nostalgia hit hard, in the best way.
Since then, I’ve ordered another three mixed boxes from the Thistle & Twigs website, and I’ll definitely be ordering again. I’m looking forward to trying more of the scent variants next. The burn time is brilliant, and the scent throw is genuinely room-filling — it gives off a premium fragrance feel without the premium price tag.

I absolutely love these wax melts, they smell great, and last for hours when used correctly. I have also tried and tested many brands and types. You can tell these wax melts are made properly without harsh chemicals. I am sensitive to smells and artificial chemicals or the harmful wax type you find in many others. These are fantastic, smell delightful. Its a nice aromatherapy around the house. I also prefer to support small businesses. I will always use thistle & twigs handmade wax melts, delivery is pretty quick and they come labelled and lovely little boxes.

Bought them first almost a year ago at a market and can't stop reordering them. They also do a mix now which is very convenient as I like to try different fragrances which usually breaks the pocket, but with the pick n mix I have a wider choice. Surprisingly perfect for masking strong food smells! Although the lady mentioned 8 to 10hrs of time, the fragrance lingers way longer than that.
